This website

The site uses no analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or browser storage. Fonts and visual assets are served with the website. The animated capture illustration does not access your microphone, record audio, or send a transcript anywhere.

Website hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request information, including your IP address, to deliver and secure the website. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains its handling of this information.

The upcoming app

The current capture workflow stores recordings and drafts on the device and requests on-device speech recognition where supported. A GitHub save is a separate, user-approved action. Device and language availability affect transcription. These details will be reviewed again for the SideThought release.
